Welcome to my gallery! At present, I offer original photographic fine art prints, collographs & ink drawings. Here's some info about them: Photographic Prints: These are digital photos I have taken and then altered using different filters for some pretty cool effects. Photo prints are custom printed on fine art paper, signed, numbered and matted using archival quality matting to ensure years of enjoyment. (Be sure not to hang these prints in areas of direct sunlight... but that's common sense.) All of these photos are in limited series of varying quantities (one is framed, the others are matted and, with the exception of the Natural NH series, are smaller in size than the original framed print). There are four catagories so far: the Natural NH series feature photos I shot around my property and also around New Hampshire; Scenic New England broadens the scope to landscapes found throughout New England; the Botanical series, so far features two studies (with more to follow in the future); and finally, Funky Montages - where anything goes. (Usually, I don't take the initial shots for these montages - I alter individual components and then arrange them into my own compositions). I plan to continue expanding all these series over time. Collographs: In addition to five abstract collographs created in 1989 (three of which have appeared in exhibits), there is a themed series of prints called "Venus and Mars...". These collographs consist of a matted/framed aquarelle colored monotype, and in most cases, a matted/framed Artist's Proof embossing along with a series of five (unmatted) embossings. There are four designs in this series.... I also offer Cats - the tiger is very beautifully matted and framed, another (tuxedo marked) is unmatted (a third featuring a white cat, sold in a benefit auction) - I will use this plate again for a few more, very distinct prints and I can even use it for consignment pieces (i.e. that special kitty in your life).... Right now, I am working on a design for an upcoming food themed show and may add another design or two to that theme as well.... Ink Drawings: Currently, I completed my "La Danse de Joie" ink drawing series - silhouettes of male and female dancers - both solo and in duets. All are matted and framed in gray speckled, black core mats and brushed dark gray metal frames... I'm quite happy with them. There are smaller, unmatted renderings of the duets; each utilizing the original template - then hand drawn from there. There are five each of the smaller drawings; each are dated, titled, numbered and signed by me.... There will be more ink renderings available in the future, some to be hand colored using watercolors.... My work is available for sale unless otherwise specified. If you are interested in obtaining anything on-line, please contact me at diamondback9a@yahoo.com for details and availability of a particular piece. At present, I accept personal checks (allow 7 - 10 days for checks to clear prior to shipping, all applicable fees will be added for bounced checks), cashier's check and money orders... and now... I am now set up to accept Visa, Master Card, AmEx & Discover Card and other on-line payments... through PayPal, your transactions and valuable information are safe, secure and confidential (I don't see or have access to your account info (nor would I want to) - PayPal facilitates everything). You can shop in the complete comfort of your home... can't beat that. In the future, I will add linocut prints to my inventory... that is when I actually have time to print them... as well as silkscreens, watercolors and other media. In the meantime, enjoy your visit and I hope you find something you really like.... NDExtra!I have signed on with American Frame and have created a special little gallery with them as well. Featured here are some of my earlier photography works, created before 2005... all these pieces are for sale as well. Each photo can be purchased framed or matted/framed in mats and frames that I especially chose for them... or you can purchase just the picture and mat and frame it to your own tastes. Please give these a look as well! The Nina Duval Gallery at American Frame |
